Buen juego

You certainly brought out the best out of time travel and limbo.
I really enjoyed the story and the never ending misery of this character.

Hey Triple Dev,

I liked your game, it looked very pretty, ( the animations were awesome) the textures were all very clean. I also liked the voice acting you did, it matched the style of your game very well.

In the beginning, the main character mentioned some things about streaming, that made me think you're probably a streamer. It was nice to hear about some of the shared problems that streamers face,("having to do the same thing day in and day out") which really connected with me, and a lot of  audiences probably don't know about that side).

However, after I played through the full game. Looking back, it seems like you used those talking points to just draw people in, and then you went on to tell your own and a completely unrelated story. Also, the s*icide at the end, was just a plot device. It held no actual weight, since there were many other ways the main character could've broken the cycle.

I understand that you are young, (in another comment you said you were in highschool). So I'm guessing that you were well intentioned in making this game, and weren't trying to clickbait players using themes of streamer depression.

And like I said earlier, the game mechanics are solid, the story just teases really important themes that are never explored again.

I believe that you know the importance of the themes you were hinting at. But you also wanted to add in some more exciting elements. I'd suggest that for future games, you just try to focus on one story aspect at a time.

For example, I think your alt reality sci fi story, could stand great on its own, without throwing in the depression element!

Thank you for taking time to read this. Please don't get angry, I'm not attacking you, just providing some healthy criticism. Goodluck with your future game development.

Also, I made a Letsplay if you'd like to check it out :) and I do free voiceacting if you're ever interested.

Hey, thanks a ton for playing the game and for leaving such a thoughtful comment. Seriously, I really appreciate it.

I'm glad the visuals landed well for you. I get what you're saying about the story, it definitely shifts direction after the intro, and looking back, I agree it could’ve been more focused.

This was my first time really trying to tell a more advanced story in a game, so a lot of it was me experimenting and figuring things out as I went. I’m still learning how to tell stories in a way that feels more grounded and consistent. (I really didn’t want it to come off as clickbait or disrespectful)

I’ll definitely keep your advice in mind for future projects.

Thanks again for taking the time to write all this. It means a lot 🙏

Of course! I love indie games and I want to support you devs as much as I can!

Thanks for the response. I hope I wasn't coming off to badly, I did enjoy playing your game!

Tackling deeper stories is one of the hardest things to take on. There's so much more thinking and work that goes into crafting a narrative, than you'd expect.

I'm 25 now, and I didn't start realizing these storytelling nuances until pretty recently lol

Also, thank you for not taking my review in a bad way. I've met some devs, on this site, who really couldn't take criticism. But you're response has been awesome. And I think it really reflects how much you care about making games and connecting with your audience :)

Congratulations on your game's success! I'm excited to see what you work on next :)

love how this was free at one point then when the game begins making waves online the developer decides to just slap an arbitrary price tag on to it because fuck it why not right? do you at the very least get anything extra for buying it? and the answer is no you don't so if you sadly didn't get to experience this whilst it was free then tough shit I guess. really grinds my gears when developers do this

Brother, I’m still a high schooler trying to make a little pocket money from this. It’s only $2, so I’m definitely not getting rich off this anytime soon.

Get a grip its 1.90 for the game, appreciate the work gone into this.

(+1)

Exactly lol, dude doesn't wanna pay $2 for 20 minutes of content XD

yes 2 dollars for a game that was at one point completely free of charge. if it costed 2 bucks in the first place then I honestly wouldn't care. but you can't just upload a game for free then slap a price tag on it completely out of the blue and expect people to just shrug it off.

Err I think you'll find he can. That's what happens when ya own and develop something, they kinda set the rules

cool game that i stumbled upon. very nice my friend! dedicated a whole video to it.

This was such an awesome horror game my dude! The concept alone is amazing but how it all played out was awesome! I was not expecting it to go the way it did at all! First when I noticed a time loop It felt very twilight zone, but once it get going and changing I gave me quantum time loops vibes, Schrödinger's cat theory! I really enjoyed the mind bending shit, the gameplay was fun, great graphics and sound effects too! I really enjoyed this game and recommend completely! Here is my gameplay video, sub and help my channel grow everybody! :)

This was AMAZING! I enjoyed the story, Great game!

i bought and cant download

If you're inside the itch.io app, try using your browser.

Nice twisted story and good atmosphere. Animations, cutscenes and voice acting also added a lot to the storytelling, great work.

Thanks for the free game, any reason why it is shaking all the time?

I'm uploading the new fixed file right now. Sorry about that.

Thank you, it was the free version so if I buy this guaranteed no shaking? Thanks

here's a free key. Sorry once again.

The game as a whole is very good, graphics, gameplay, cutscene and especially the story. The game keeps you hooked from beginning to end, excellent game!

Veeery interesting game!

This game honestly surprised me -- loved it!! Big fan of the interstellar reference and the mystery / sci-fi genre. Exceeded my expectations and is definitely unlike any other game I usually come across on this site. Keep up the good work!

Such an amazing game... I was taken back by how good this was for 15 minutes of gameplay. Simply well done. Here is my playthrough

This packs alottt into such a small time span, no offence to other games, but they generally feel like theres alot of filler. this doesnt skip a beat though, its confusing, i have no idea what going on, but its quick and to the point.

I hate being one of these people who just posts their video, but from what i understand it helps support the game and get it out there, so cheers.

for some reason i can not download the game can someone help me

you may have to go to an web browser. It wouldn’t download on the app for me either.

This game was amazing! the cutscenes were great, the voice acting was also great. everything about this game was awesome! and the story was prefect. great game. 10/10

Loved the cutscenes, made the game much more cinematic than I expected, great work. Would you be interested in using any voice actors for your next title? I'd love to work with you.

I like the game! thank you!

great atmospheric game , thank you!

This game was sooo cool.  If you would like to watch my gameplay here you go

Good Game!

Awesome concept, cool gameplay, but music from interstellar, the music from interstellar doesn't fit here, it would be better to add some neutral ambient or something like industrial

I really wanted to play this game after reading the reviews and comments! It sounded fantastic! I went to start the game and the second I moved the character, the camera started shaking. And it doesn't stop. I tried adjusting some settings but nothing worked.

I checked the comments and saw one other comment that mentioned the shaking, but it didn't sound like there were any fixes for it yet. Please update if you happen to get the bugs worked out!

Hey, sorry you're running into that. I actually tried fixing this before but couldn’t fully recreate the issue on my end. Still, I can see it’s a real problem for some players, so I’m gonna take another look. I’ll also add a setting to disable the camera sway since that might be what’s causing it. Really sorry again, and I appreciate you pointing it out.

Thank you for the fast reply! Idk how it was shaking for the other person, but for me it's a fast but "short" camera shake side to side. With the way the game starts, showing rain and the character sleeping, it starts with you getting out of bed and standing. Once I took the first "step", it started immediately, and I really thought it was part of the game. I thought the character was shivering from cold. That's how it looked, at least. It was a short back and forth. I could still walk around but the shaking would speed up or slow down so I couldn't click on areas to interact with. I could try to send a video of it, if it's still doing it, but Idk if that would help. I plan to keep trying it though! I really want to play the game so I have it on my list until I do. I wish you best of luck with your games!

change the mouse sensitivity to 30 and it should help. It happened to me too

I quit the game and restarted. it worked.

Please try harder next time
